  The company are now housed in a huge new premises which is certainly better than their cramped place before, even if it is a little further from the airport.

  Very bad experience. If you don't buy extra very expensive Solmar insurance and you don't make sure that every little scratch is written down, they will screw you over with damages you didn't make.

  Worst car rental experience ever. You think you are getting a good deal when comparing the prices while booking, but beware, it doesn't end there! 30 minutes after returning the car SolMar immediately charged us an extra 250Euro, and refused to communicate with us what the charge was for. They are almost impossible to get hold of (I tried for many weeks via telephone and email), and if you are lucky enough to have your call answered, they will either tell you that they are too busy to help you and you can phone back another time!, or tell you to phone another branch, who then tell you to phone someone else... I will never ever ever use them again. The staff in generally rude. They are also situated away from the airport, so if there is traffic between the SolMar branch and the airport you may get very stuck! There was an accident on the day we returned our car and the courtesy vehicle could not get back to the branch to give us a lift to the airport and we nearly missed our flight... We rented an expensive vehicle for 3 weeks and took our their full insurance, we were a good customer and were treated very poorly by SolMar

  We always use Solmar for our holiday car rental as we can book and pay for full coverage of insurance before we go.

  The service is friendly and helpful. You can only speak as you find, and so I would recommend Solmar and although more expensive, opt for the "Supercover" option

  The bus takes you there to collect your car and the map provided for return is clear and the route straightforward.

  Do not rent a car from these bandits. You book online for 65 euros but when you go to pay the want an extra 99 euros for petrol in the car as it states you need to pay petrol if you dont take full insurance that still has a 1000 euro excess on it. If you do take the extra insurance for 55 the fuel is included but the excess is still added. This is absolute fraud. The staff are unapologetic and really should all have bandido masks. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY read other reviews on tripadvisor first to see what other scams they pull on you.

  The cars we have rented have always been comfortable and economic, clean and well presented.

  The staff were very friendly but unfortunately they are very understaffed. We had to wait nearly 1 hr to get picked up at the airport.
